Subject: Radiation Screening
To Whom It May Concern:
All Cliffs Steel Inc. steelmaking facilities screen incoming scrap for radiation level above normal
background level. The background level is typically 0.0001 mSv/hr. If a scrap load emits radiation above
normal background level, Cliffs Steel Inc. will not accept the load.
