Subject: Council Regulations (EU) 833/2014 and 2023/1214
Dear Sir or Madam:
ATI Specialty Rolled Products (“ATI”) understands that, as of September 30, 2023, Council
Regulation (EU) 2023/1214 amended Council Regulation (EU) 833/2014 to prohibit the
importation or purchase in the European Union of certain products processed in a third country
(non-EU member country) incorporating iron and steel products originating in Russia or Belarus.
ATI manufactures metal and alloy products in the United States. The products manufactured by
ATI do not incorporate any iron or steel materials originating in, or exported from, Russia or
Belarus, nor any such materials processed in a third country. Therefore, ATI’s products comply
with the requirements of Council Regulations (EU) 833/2014 and 2023/1214.
