Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals
(REACH) - Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)
Published Candidate Lists, Annex XIV and Annex XVII.
On 23 January 2024, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) added five new
chemicals to the REACH Candidate List, in Annex XVII. The Candidate List of
substances of very high concern now contains 240 entries for chemicals that can harm
people or the environment.
Combined Metals Company LLC, comprising Elgiloy Specialty Metals, Combined Metals
of Chicago, Combined Metals of Michigan and Gibbs Interwire does not add any of the
substances listed on the REACH Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern
(SVHC), at a level greater than 0.1% by weight to the products that we process.
