Statement for RoHS Compliance
To Our Valued Customers:
Brown Metals Company is a distributor, and thus, does not melt or produce any of the
materials sold to our customers. Brown Metals Company does not knowingly add or expose
these materials to any of the hazardous substances listed below.
Lead, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl
ethers (PBDE), Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl
phthalate (DBP) or Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) do not exceed the maximum concentration of
0.1% by weight for homogenous materials. Cadmium and mercury do not exceed the
maximum concentration of 0.01% by weight for homogenous materials.
Statements from our vendors found at www.brownmetals.com/compliance should be used
as supplemental support to this letter. Materials are compliant with the European Union
Directives 2011/65/EU (RoHS2) & 2015/863/EU (RoHS3).
