Conflict Minerals Statement
Dear Valued Customer:
Brown Metals Company is committed to meeting the requirements of the Dodd-Frank Wall
Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Section 1502 as it relates to "conflict minerals."
We collaborate with our supply chain to guard against the use of"conflict minerals" such as
tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold (commonly referred to as 3TG).
While Brown Metals Company does not manufacture the products we sell, we do require our
suppliers to provide products that are manufactured from legal and sustainable sources. In
an effort provide compliance support to our customers, we have obtained and posted
statements of compliance from these manufacturers on our website at
www.brownmetals.com/compliance. Based on feedback from these manufacturers, we have
concluded that the products sold by Brown Metals Company are considered "Conflict Free"
and meet the requirements of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection
